Do you know which health insurance denied coverage more frequently to more individuals than any other insurance plan in 2009? The correct answer is Medicare. I knew that.
I did not know that.

Do you know that Obamacare increases taxes immediately, but does not start to provide healthcare benefits until 2014? I knew that.
I did not know that.

The Obama Plan... Now do you get it?

John Galt Is On Strike
Industrial production in the United States declined by 1% during 2009. This was the largest decline since the government started tracking this data in 1967.
This statistic proves that businesses and investors are reluctant to build plant and equipment, invest in general, and will continue to reduce hiring. Businesses and investors are reacting to the US government's plans to increase taxes, accumulate untenable deficits, spend borrowed and printed money, and restructure the US economy, including the one-sixth that is the health care sector.
This reluctance is nothing less than business and investment people going on strike.
Take that you union bosses, you government administrators, and you socialists in the Obama administration!
The GM corporate headquarters building stands precariously poised over other once-productive structures of Detroit. Decades ago the brick factory buildings in the foreground were as meaningful as the GM building down the street was years ago.

Then Over There. Now Over Here.
Attention all you anti-American Americans, you haters of the United States of America, you socialists, you fascists, you who fail to have the guts to attempt to make it in a fair, competitive capitalistic economic environment wherein your skills and fortitude will be tested....  Attention you who undermine America and abuse its goodness, generosity, intellectual and economic accomplishments....  Attention you traitorous weaklings....
You have had the privilege to be born or somehow due to the open generosity of America, assumed the rights and privileges of citizenship.
You can only fail in your damaging, destructive wishes and efforts for the United States of America.
We true Americans who remain true to our Constitution and successful heritage will survive to live, make progress, and prosper...  and attain genuine happiness.

Pumpkin Stuff Shortage
The Nestle company manufacturers most of the canned pumpkin product sold in America. It markets these products under the brand name Libby.
Nestle's Libby announced that there may not be an adequate supply of canned pumpkin.
This is one of the first shortages in food products to hit the United States since World War II. It will not be an anomaly.
My Last Trip To McDonalds
No, I did not actually trip and it was not my last visit to McDonalds. There is no way I will stop enjoying those fantastic double cheeseburgers, really great tasting fish sandwiches, and super-duper egg McMuffins.
But today I suggested that she speak English rather than Spanish.
The world is a little better off for my having visited McDonalds today.

Do You See?
Government has no money. Government can print money; that is, make it up as a child makes up fantasy friends. But government actually gets its money by taxing people.
Government claims to be able to stimulate the economy by taxing you and then spending your money on things that it decides it wants to buy. If government spends a dollar, it took that dollar from you and other people.
When government spends your money, you do not have that money to spend on what you want and need. If you had been allowed to keep your money, what would you have bought?
Government is unable to stimulate the economy because for every dollar it spends, it has taken a dollar from you and other people who then cannot spend those dollars. Those dollars get misdirected by government.
If government had not taken those dollars, you and other Americans could have spent your dollars and actually stimulated the economy.

White Men's Last Stand
Saving Western Civilization is a big job. Someone really should do it. It would be such a noble thing to have accomplished.
The New York Times, under the byline of Maureen Dowd, liberated white men from their self-imposed dungeons of timidity. Dowd's Op-Ed, entitled "White Men's Last Stand", elevated this nearly extinct species onto the stage previously reserved for women and minorities.

OpportunityLand
America is such a Fantastic Grand Land Of Opportunity that she makes becoming successful appear easy -- almost an entitlement.
Many Americans today blame anything other than themselves for preventing their success.
Someday these dunces may realize that even under BO's Communism, fascism, and massive redistribution plan, it continues to be their own shortcomings that keep them unsuccessful and average at best.
But no. Most people will continue to blame anything other than themselves for their lack of success and ease of failure.

More American Failure
Microsoft is another GM.
Microsoft manifests the same arrogance and complacency, and produces poor quality products.
GM became infamous for re-labeling its cheap, poorly-built cars under its premier brand names. For example, GM re-labeled its Chevrolet Vega calling it a Cadillac Cimarron. Both cars were junk and failed in the consumer market place. The Cadillac name was corrupted.
Microsoft will soon re-label its failed Vista operating system under the name Windows 7.

Worst Of The Worst
Why is America filled with so many psychologically warped, crooked, and philosophically inept politicians?
Because America is the Land Of Opportunity. Anyone who has any real skill chooses to be earn success through honest, productive work and has confidence in his abilities. He gets a real job.

Sunrise Sunset
Welcome to another bright sunny day. Oh yah.... Another of those boring, repetitive days of waking to peacefulness, comfortable home life, and a secure freedom to do as you like. Another day of that boring drive to work in that comfortable car, working to earn a decent living, feeling good about your prospects, returning home in the evening to the same old dinner table, relaxing after dinner with your reading, hobby, and if fortunate, your spouse. Don't be concerned. Those boring, repetitive days are coming to an end.

Top Secret Briefing #1
Within hours of winning the election, Obama received his first top secret briefing. The US government -- we, the US - skipped the do-a-thorough-background-check step before handing over the nation's top secrets.
Obama would not have been offered a job with the FBI, CIA, or even a US welfare agency. Obama would not be allowed to teach children in any public or private school. Obama would not be offered a job with any company that employs most Americans. Obama never released standard school records, prior relevant group affiliations, nor could he verify that he is a citizen of the USA.
Imagine William Ayers, his associates, and the entire Arab, Muslim, international and domestic communist gangs and Obama laughing at the nation.
We wonder if any FBI, CIA, or other patriots resigned rather than give away US top secrets to this pretender.

Policy Legislated, Implemented, Now Politicized
Policy Now Politicized & Used By self-serving Liars
October 31, 1998, President Clinton signed into law the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998. This legislation had been proposed and promoted by a bi-partisan group consisting of members of the US Congress. At the signing President Clinton said:
"The United States favors an Iraq that offers its people freedom at home. I categorically reject arguments that this is unattainable due to Iraq's history or its ethnic or sectarian make-up. Iraqis deserve and desire freedom like everyone else. The United States looks forward to a democratically supported regime....
"My administration has pursued, and will continue to pursue, these objects.... The evidence is overwhelming that such changes will not happen under the current leadership [of Saddam Hussein]."

Rotten Jerks Actually Are In Charge !
It's So Damn Expensive, Silly Boy!
Who is making the evaluations, judgments and decisions that cost American lives? It appears that bureaucrats and bean counters are running the logistics of WWIII.
The Pentagon announced that US troops serving in Iraq will receive at least 1,000 fewer special Mine Resistant Ambush Protected, MRAP, vehicles this year than were expected for 2007.
Roadside explosive devices continue to be responsible for a major percentage of deaths and maiming in the Iraqi and Afghanistan battlefronts of WWIII.
Morrell said that due to the number of MRAPs planned for production, it will be more cost effective to send them by ship rather than air -- even though it takes longer to deliver them to the Americans who are daily defending and dying for our homeland.
Morrell said he did not know which units in Iraq would be affected by the production shortfall this year.
Who cares? Morrell and his coworkers at the Pentagon get paid the same and go home every evening regardless of how much protection gets delivered to the brave troops fighting and dying for Morrell's homeland.  Read the full story.

Do you recall waiting in line for gasoline during the 1973 Arab oil embargo?
If you don't, recall what it is like to wait in line anywhere today. Consider waiting at McDonalds, a grocery store, or just about anywhere these days.
Can you imagine waiting in line for gasoline today under the tensions of today with those same self-involved jerks, idiots, oh-so-nervous, hyperactive morons that you encounter these days?
Gee whiz, maybe it is better to wage war than to have the Arabs embargo oil again and therefore have to wait in line for gas with today's "neighbors and friends"!

All Time Record High Revenue
The US Treasury collected more money in January, 2007, than ever before. Record revenue means businesses and individuals paid more money in taxes to the federal government than ever before. This is because tax cuts resulted in increased revenue paid to the US government.
As taxes went down, corporate profits increased and, therefore corporations paid more money in taxes -- albeit at lower rates, they paid more total money.
As taxes went down, government revenue went up. Revenue increased more than the experts had predicted -- 46% more. The power of tax cuts is enormous. The federal deficit continues to shrink.

Losers
Is it because the US & Western civilization are losing World War III and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that so many Americans demand we quit, cut, run, and cower in our insecure homeland?

The Frenchies Took Ten
In 1789 France erupted in revolution. The civil war tides twisted while varieties of factions ebbed and shifted in blood shed. Starting in 1861, the US fought its own bloody civil war which resulted in the deaths of over 600,000 Americans.
In ignorance only does the world -- including today's French and sports-minded, frightened Americans -- want to remove the coach and ridicule Iraqis for failing to recover from 33 years of Saddam Hussein's murderous dictatorship. The Iraqi people have been liberated for only 3-3/4 years.
The French have forgotten their own leader Robespierre and his Reign of Terror. In 1793-1794, 25,000 Frenchmen were executed by Frenchmen.  Read the story.

Everyone Knows
In 1940 pacifists held such a beachhead inside the US that FDR had to set up the Lend-Lease program -- a sham -- in order to provide Britain with armament enough to stave off the impending German onslaught. Suddenly on December 7, 1941, the rage of World War II hit all Americans including pacifists.
In 1990 the self-satisfied, self-centered generation lived in aggressive arrogance. It was not as well educated as it thought, but it was certain it knew everything and invented most everything. Suddenly on September 11, 2001, a self proclaimed enemy of civilization who lives to prevent progress and destroy freedom and individual rights turned US institutions of government and business into flames replicating the murders at Pearl Harbor in 1941.  Read the story.

Some Westerners feel that Western civilization can simply exit Iraq before civilized Iraqis have built Iraq. These believers feel that when  left on their own, the schoolyard bully will simply stop killing & get civilized and productive.
Until then, some peace-loving Westerners wage intra-cultural and political war against their countrymen and fellow Westerners with unyielding sadistic violence.
Fact:  The war in Iraq is simply one war front in the global war that is accurately identified as World War III. Fighting in Iraq is a relatively small portion of WWIII. WWIII will not end if the US exits Iraq.  Read the story.

Nix On That Idea
The 1960 US presidential election was one of the closest in history. By midnight of election day, it was apparent that John Kennedy and Richard Nixon were close in popular votes. The election would be decided in the electoral college -- as the US Constitution prescribes -- by one swing state.
In 1960, Illinois would make the difference just as Florida made the difference in the 2000 presidential election between Al Gore and George Bush.
In 2000, Al Gore recklessly refused to accept that there are always errors and miscounts. Statistically, across the nation, these errors balance out to zero.  Read the story.

This pleasant-appearing women, Patricia Dunn, obviously thrilled that she is able to further erode and destroy the once-great Hewlett-Packard, was Chairman of the Board. She demonstrated a fixation over trivial details. She should have been focusing on important issues. Being hung up on trivia, she should have been mature, wise, and used good judgment all top executives should possess.
The trivia that plagued her could have been cleared away by simply exposing it and asking each board member about his role.
Perhaps she realizes that she is another victim of the women's movement. She was given more power than she was able to wield, became over-whelmed, and abused her position.

Spending Your Money
Citgo is a Houston-based subsidiary of Venezuela's state-owned oil company. Venezuela is controlled by a demagogic, anti-American, ranting dictator named Hugo Chavez. Chavez has entertained Cindy Sheehan.
Chavez is cultivating friendly relations with the president of Iran. He maintains close relations with Fidel Castro and any other anti-American nation. Chavez called President George W. Bush the devil and an alcoholic. The US government has declared Chavez a destabilizing force. He has threatened to use Venezuela's oil as a weapon against the free world.

Mel Gibson, arrested & drunk again, came out of the closet staggering & ranting. He espoused his view of the Jewish people. He attributed several negatives throughout history to Jews.
Gibson has two addictions: alcoholism and hatred for Jews. Judging by his previous behavior, he doesn't really want to eliminate alcohol. Mel's father is vociferous about his long-standing hatred for the Jewish people. Mel's repeated anti-Semitic talk, his movie -- with its not subtle anti-Semitic message, and his most recent free-flowing, drunken tirade portray the real Mel Gibson. Judging by his past and present behavior, it is only the Jews that Gibson wants to eliminate.
Gibson has again apologized profusely. He sounded and appeared very convincing. Gibson is a definitely a better actor than we thought.

It was natural for Western Civilization to transition from the Great Depression into World War II. People knew hardship. They treasured life & liberty and knew it was worth fighting for.
Today it appears impossible for people of this, the most self-involved, self-adoring euphoric era, to transition from self-aggrandizement into World War III. People know little history, fail to appreciate their comforts, and have diminished into weaklings.
How we react when we finally perceive ourselves as losers will determine our fate.

What Is A Win In Afghanistan?
Has anyone -- politicians, generals, pundits -- paused to define what it actually means to "Win In Afghanistan"? Has anyone put together a brief business-plan approach that identifies "Win" before attempting to make strategic and tactical decisions regarding Afghanistan?
The only way to win is to first define win, devise a plan to reasonably assure our win, and correctly implement that plan to win.

Barry's Excellent Takeover
Just months into his first term, Barry has divided Americans and taken over a massive portion of America.
Barry will continue to enjoy his $100 per pound Kobe beef while dictating commands to his czars as the socialist New America fails.
Barry's Excellent Takeover is all about control.

Divisive
Obama arrogantly believes that he can divide Americans, paving his way to an operational takeover including his domestic militia, socialism, and fascism.
Obama fails to understand the American people because he is not culturally an American. He fails to understand the American psychology and Americans' need to live free enjoying our inalienable individual rights.
Obama will fail implementing his primary objectives of changing America into a socialist state and dismantling capitalism. Instead, he will push Americans into uniting against him.

Context
The answer is in. After centuries of theoretical discussion, debate, writing, and analysis. The answer has been demonstrated through live tests on living humans in nations around the world. The answer has been repeated in complexity and simplicity. The correct answer is clear.
Make no mistaken interpretation of Obama. So... change?

The Obvious
Americans no longer need to see Obama's college grades in order to judge his worthiness. We now have living proof.
Imagine that you had been been put in charge of the most successful nation, society, economy, and culture in history. What would you do?
You would strive to ensure that its foundation, basic principles, and fundamental values were maintained and strengthened.
Obama has announced that he will change America. How stupid is that?

1974
Sears Tower was opened for business in 1974. It was planned to be the international corporate headquarters for Sears, the world's largest retailer.
In 1974 Sears Tower was the world's tallest building. In 2009, the Sears Tower was renamed the Willis Tower.
Sears is a metaphor for the United States of America. The relatively small Sears collapsed quicker than the massive USA. This story provides the parallels to allow the reader to chart the US' inevitable path over the next several years.
The United States of America is traveling along a similar trajectory of failure.

Self Defeat
In an ongoing, repetitious, unending stream, nearly all major economic indicators point to a continuing decline in available jobs, manufacturing activity, the housing market, investment and asset valuations. Prices for cars and homes are declining, but there is little credit available, so purchases are difficult and less likely than is required for economic growth.
Until investors believe they may invest with a reasonable opportunity to make a profit, they will not invest. Until confidence returns to markets, credit will remain in tight supply.

Try This On Your Job
A few days after winning the North Carolina primary and effectively sealing the democratic nomination for president, Barack Obama made a surprise appearance in Congress, from which he had been absent for the better part of a year and a half. But Senator Obama dropped in to the House of Representatives only -- not the Senate.
Following a 'victory lap' before members of the House and campaigning with a super delegate, Senator Obama -- a non-working, but still-employed and regularly-paid U.S. senator -- left the House floor without even stopping in at the Senate to participate in a vote that took place right after his visit.
So as far as Senator Obama is concerned, he is exempt from doing the job he was elected to do (and has never bothered to do at all) as long as he is busy trying to get promoted to president.
If work ethic counts in a president, he's unqualified on this count alone!

Serving All US Including Congress
Thanksgiving arrived at the Forward Operating Base Airborne in Afghanistan. The men pictured above and their fellow protectors from other nations are genuine men true to their cause of liberty for all. They serve to ensure that civilization remains safe and that we may continue living in our comfortable, secure enclaves.
This base is too typical. It is a rectangle of concertina wire and barricades in the middle of no where. It is on a hillside 8,400 feet above sea level. Its inner compound is protected by bunkers and it is about 300 yards long and 175 hundred yards wide. This space shelters tents, armored vehicles, several latrines and mortar pits, a helicopter landing zone and little more.
These men serve and, while they defend, suffering injury and death, the US Congress suffers under the weight of piddling politicians whose apparent primary concern is their petty careers.
These Congressmen who piddle apparently care little for the caliber of the nation they are responsible for maturely leading and wisely funding. Congressmen wiggle in weasel mode attempting to gain domestic political power. Too many elected officials act seemingly unconcerned that legislation they hold up and the demoralizing interviews and speeches they proclaim undermine the men who are truly earning their constitutional rights and US citizenship. But these Congressional weasels fail to comprehend that the nation they toy with is diminished by their inability to act as men regardless of their gender. They care not that the nation they will be responsible for tomorrow may be diminished due to their piddling today.
Thank you to each and every service man and woman for serving the United States of America. We know you are working to win battles ahead of our nation's failing leadership. You truly know right from wrong. You understand the values that built the USA.

Wholesale prices fell in August, 2007, by the largest amount in 10 months. Record oil prices have counter-intuitively resulted a decline in the price of gasoline and other energy products. Also, August was the fourth straight month of falling food costs.
The US Labor Department reports that the producer price index fell 1.4% in August, 2007. This decline was led by a 6.6% drop in energy costs -- the largest drop in more than four years.
Core inflation, which excludes food and energy, was under control. It rose 0.2%.
The US Labor Department reported that Consumer prices fell in August for the first time in 2007. Gasoline and housing costs were unchanged.

It is no wonder the mass media has been reporting about the federal deficit. The reason is that it has been shrinking, getting smaller, going down. Yes, tax cuts increase government revenue which pays down the deficit.
The US budget deficit is estimated to decline from its 2004 peak of 4.5% of GDP, down to 1.4% in 2009. That is a decline of more than half. And that is below the 40-year historical average deficit of 2.3% of GDP.

No Excuse
President Bush visited New Orleans over two years after hurricane Katrina. Bush said, "We understand".
He understands? If he understands, he is less smart than people thought. He should have said, "We do not understand how you could have come such a short distance after so long".
Why New Orleans failed to rebuild & recover? Why have nearly all other cities & towns hit by Katrina -- and other disastrous hurricanes -- recovered with a year or two?
The US government committed $127 billion in resources and tax relief in the two years since hurricanes Katrina and Rita for New Orleans and the Gulf Coast region. Following World War II the US government spent an inflation adjusted $107 billion between 1947 and 1951 on the Marshall Plan to rebuild 16 European nations.

Suckling
There was once an age when people outgrew their natural need to suckle several months after birth. People adapted and learned to drink from a glass. Over the years they actually matured, became adults, and drank from glasses when thirsty or partying.
Today, in our age of widespread multiple fears many people cannot drive, walk, run, or sit without being comforted by a nearby liquid. It is often coffee or bottled water that now provides the ongoing suckling comforts that today's non-maturing, juvenile generations need to suck.
In the less self-involved, less demanding and more fearless age of recent decades, contented, psychologically well-adapted people simply lit up a cigarette and relaxed.

Former President Gerald Ford died December, 2006. He was appointed by President Nixon to succeed him. President Ford pardoned Nixon, led the failed "Whip Inflation Now", WIN, and served a place-holder presidency for two years.
Ford's most substantive and far-reaching accomplishment was his failure to provide comfort to his wife. That failure, along with her character weakness, led her to become addicted to drugs and alcohol.
Betty Ford, when caught publicly with drug and alcohol habits, was the first to -- with fanfare -- turn herself into the newly invented Betty Ford Clinic concept. She acknowledged she was addicted. Betty Ford thereby became the role model for millions of people with weak characters who have ever since surrendered with fanfare, gone on rehab vacation, and returned to continue living their weak-character, lives.

Planned Perfection
As the Fed planned & hoped, the US economy is slowing just enough to likely prevent inflation.
Economists know -- and the reason the Federal Reserve raises interest rates -- that an inflation-prone, over-heating economy will slow as interest rates increase. In the third calendar quarter, the US economy grew at the predictably slower -- as planned -- slower pace of 1.6%.

Iwo Jima
The battle for Iwo Jima was fought from February 19 to March 26, 1945. Massive defensive shelling made an organized landing of US forces impossible. Beaches were red and confused. 6,825 Americans were killed.
Today a small portion of Americans are again fighting to preserve freedom for all Americans. It is inconceivable -- but true -- that some half of all Americans fail to accept the need to fight. On the Iraqi war front of World War III, some 20 to 100 Americans die each month.
Too many Americans smugly lounge around the homeland afraid to mature. They are locked in juvenile play modes while trying, but failing to look and be cool.  Read the story.

Trailers Enough?
One magical day in October, the population of the United States will surpass 300 million.
T
he significant questions include:
Will there be enough trailers for all 300 million living in what has become an increasingly dirty, low class, corrupt trailer-park-type nation?
And when our kids get angry and frustrated, will they have enough schools to go to and teachers to shoot?
And will congressmen have enough under-age pages to practice their pedophilia upon?
And will there be enough prosecutors to investigate even a small portion of corrupt corporate executives?
All that is certain is that there will be more drivers running red lights, more nasty behavior, more juvenile silliness, and more drugs and violence.
Actually, the foremost question is, Will there be enough rehab facilities to hold the congressmen, students, actors, and other self-serving victims and phony repentant sorts.

Smaller US Deficit, 2006
The US deficit is today 21% smaller than it was one year ago. This is because tax cuts resulted in increased revenue paid to the US government.
As taxes went down, corporate profits increased and, therefore corporations paid more money in taxes -- albeit at lower rates, they paid more total money.
Through July, 2006, government revenue totaled $1.969 trillion. That is an increase of 12.8% from the same period in 2005.

Shrinking Sinking Sears
Metaphor For America
In 1972, Sears was the world's largest retail business. Sears had been started by an alert and confident Richard Sears who, while working as a train conductor in the later 19th century, purchased an unclaimed consignment of watches for $75. He sold all of those watches and Sears Roebuck & Co. was born.
Sears flourished over the next decades guided by wise merchandising minds that empowered good managers and implemented innovative marketing techniques.
Sears is a metaphor for the United States of America. A victim during the later third of the 20th century, Sears undermined itself through arrogance and inept management. It allowed the women's movement, affirmative action, equal opportunity hiring mandates, and a pandering board to misguide management and demoralize key staff. The changing world provided opportunities which Sears ignored. It is too late for Sears to catch up.  Read the saga.

Serfdom
For several decades American labor unions and independent workers have complained that their jobs were being exported to nations whose labor forces worked for lower wages.
American labor now rejoices because auto companies and other manufacturing will remain at least temporarily -- and some may return -- to US soil. American workers will have their jobs on the assembly lines and in light and heavy industries.
American labor fails to recognize that many workers are now employed by either foreign-owned companies or the US government. Corporate profits will be exported to foreign owned corporations or appropriated by the US Treasury. Profits will no longer be re-invested directly into the US economy.
American labor also fails to recognize that it continues to compete with foreign labor for wages and jobs. When American labor's foreign owner-employers decide to export these jobs, they are not likely to return.
Paraphrasing Hayek, there is a road to serfdom and American labor has earned its role as serf.

About Those Americans

Unhappy New Year
The Iraq War does not exist. World War III does exist. Today's fighting in Iraq is only one front in several within the long war known as WWIII, the War Against Terrorism.
Any fool can quit today and exit tomorrow thereby escaping the fight in Iraq. Our self-proclaimed enemies will continue to fight amongst themselves in multiple civil wars throughout the Middle East killing their own civilians and making no economic or social progress.
During their infighting they will blame the US and Western Civilization for most of their troubles. Factions of militants, failures, losers, insurgents, fanatical young men breed only to fight and now, having nothing else to do, will seep into Western Civilization. They will wreak chaos, destruction and death upon the quitters and losers who failed and quit Iraq before the job was done.
History will make this clear to you also if you are alive and able to see.

X
No thinking person should be confused when confused politicians misuse and misconstrue the terms strategy and tactics.
Strategy refers to to an overall conceptual plan and approach based upon guiding principles. Strategy involves statesmanship, politics, military resources, coalitions of significant long-range objectives that rest upon large-scale, high-level interests, and feasible planning. Strategies change little over time. Strategies are based upon substantive, basic principles.
Tactics refer to the detailed actions, handling of events, and methodologies used to deal with implementing the strategic plan. Tactics often need to adapt for enhancement over the short term. Tactics must react to enemy reactions and the latest winning and losing of all factions on all fronts.

Ms. Smith is a journalist. She should have some reasonable vocabulary. Apparently her vocabulary does not contain all the words and synonyms appropriate for her friend's eulogy.
Are today's spotlighted women so overly empowered that they must flex their muscles by using profanities while eulogizing friends? Or are they simply so emboldened that they feel free to expose their intrinsic low class behavior?

If Israel does not defend itself, it will be destroyed.

Iran's leadership has repeatedly openly called for the annihilation of Israel -- for Israel to be "wiped off the map. Leaders of other nations of the region support this objective politically, logistically, and through funding of surrogate paramilitary groups.
Israel has been threatened, attacked, experienced years of homicide bombings that killed and maimed civilians, and been targeted by marauding terrorists who enter and kidnap Israelis. If your homeland experienced some of this, how would you react?

Fortunately driving while jabbering on a cell phone, yelling and directing other drivers, messing with stuff on the other seat, and running red lights are not full time tasks. Quality multi-tasking time remains for sipping that "I can't wait for it" cup of hot java. Golly gee, it's a good thing she quit smoking.

Intimidating No More
There is a trite saying that goes, "Like father like son". But what about learning from our father's mistake when there are lives in jeopardy?
Fans watching a Daytona race a few years ago lost a great driver, Dale Earnhardt.
If Earnhardt, Sr. had been wearing the neck brace now required he may have survived the accident. More importantly, had Earnhardt, Sr. applied basic laws of physics to his driving, he would have known not apply his brakes to slow into the front bumper of the car behind him.
And how many amateur Main Street drivers reading this story feel really cool while they draft the car in front of them?  Read the story.

Relax Your Mitosis
Death from cancer has decreased for the first time in seven decades. And it happened within our culture filled with media and environmental groups' daily scares, warnings, and admonitions about everything from smoking cigarettes and using cell phones to breathing.
The National Center for Health Statistics announced that 556,902 Americans died of cancer in 2003. That is 369 fewer than died in 2002.
The cancer death rate has been declining by about 1% per year since 1991.

Taxing
The US Treasury announced its General Explanations for Fiscal Year 2007 Revenue Proposals, known as the Blue Book.
Included was a set of proposals to increase voluntary compliance. The estimated difference between what taxpayers should pay and what they actually pay on a timely basis, known as the net tax gap, is roughly $300 billion annually. That is 15% of all taxes collected. That means that taxes are higher for compliant taxpayers.

Less Humorless
A sense of what is humorous, an appreciation of a barb, gibe, criticism, dig, and our ability to laugh at ourselves seem to have dissolved away. This is strange since it feels good to laugh. Laughter ads enjoyment to each day.
Where has our sense of humor gone? It appears replaced by trite, juvenile silliness and bathroom humor. Remember the days when people laughed uproariously at themselves? In recent memory people laughed at themselves after sarcasm and when caricatured and chided. Perhaps they could laugh because they knew they might return a clever barb and provoke more laughter from the object of their joke or criticism.
The other side of life is the tragic. Without humor only this other side exists -- and slowly takes over to darken each day.
That is truly tragic.

Making It The Old-fashioned Way
With her childhood dreams unattainable, Hillary, calculated that her success might best be realized by taking that old-fashioned, tried-and-true path -- marry a potentially successful dude.

Demonstrating Why
This is how they express their love for the US. They love America so much that they want to shut it down. They cannot. Others will pick lettuce.
"Don't Buy Gringo Products. Long Live the Boycott."  So chanted about 3,000 Mexicans in Mexico. This is the Mexican way of persuading the US to hand all rights & privileges of US citizenship to millions of illegals.
So dumb... they fail to see that they further demonstrate why Mexicans cannot build a potent Mexico. No wonder so many Mexicans escape Mexico every day.  Read the story.

Illegal & Demanding
On May 1, the annual marches will take place. The world's communists will celebrate and America's illegal immigrants will demand. The communists will celebrate their many economic and cultural failures and ongoing repression of human rights since Karl Marx codified their misconceptions in 1848.
America's legal immigrants and illegals plan to stay away from work, school and stores to rally and demand that they be given US citizenship and amnesty or they will shut down America.  Read the story.

Unbounded Audacity
Track Their Total Disregard For The USA
US
Fools Are
Nearly Fully
Fooled
The Dubai ports deal delineates supporting politically-oriented leadership from support of the United States of America. There is an obvious priority that cannot be disregarded and demands ultimate concern for, and protection of the US of A. The US of A is more important than any politics and any business deal.
Update January, 2007:  AIG, America's largest insurance company has agreed to buy six US ports from Dubai Ports World. The deal is intended to end the long-running political furor. DP World sold the ports nine months after acquiring them as part of a multi-billion dollar takeover of Britain's P&O maritime empire. The new AIG assets include ports in New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Miami and New Orleans.

Oops
Americans & Western civilization must watch to see how Dubai owners of the port operation contracts escape this issue without transferring them. Will they simply set their price high enough to fail to attract buyers... and then claim no buyers materialized? Dubai-owned & controlled DP World knows that Congress and most Americans will have forgotten this issue by then. After all the noise, there may be no transfer from DP World.

Dubai has only promised to transfer operational control to a separate entity. It has not removed the possibility of someday taking back operational control from that entity. And so what? Would a competent business person trust Dubai to not renege on a promise after witnessing their behavior throughout this deal? Are there any competent business-oriented negotiators in congress? Does only personal self-interest guide US Congressmen?

Sham! Specious Sham!  Just as the US Congress started passing legislation that would have killed the Dubai ports deal, as expected the Dubai-owned and controlled company DP World made its next announcement. Its orchestration was perfect. Speciously, the company announcement was made by its American puppet Chief Operating Officer Edward H. Bilkey. He issued a press release perfectly timed to coincide with Senator John Warner's ability to grandstand and read it on the Senate floor for maximum media coverage.

This possibility is larger for a UAE-based company than for a British, Italian or US-based company. This is why this deal should not be permitted and US policy regarding port operations must change in the post-9/11 world.  Read about the twists & exposures.

Bill Clinton:  Former president Bill Clinton knows the UAE and top UAE officials know Bill Clinton well. Their relationship is long and deep. The sheikdom contributed to the Clinton Library and brought Clinton to Dubai in 2003 & 2005 were he was reportedly paid $300,000 each for speaking engagements.  Read about more players.

The Deal: February 28 -- The UAE is located at a strategically and tactically critical juncture. The US Navy openly points to several hundred military vessels that have ported in UAE waters over recent months. If that, then imagine.... The UAE is a relatively reliable oil-producing ally. Therefore, in the global picture, the DP World buyout of P&O is a small deal. But it is a big deal to several UAE business interests. And with so much publicity it is an even grander global deal. US politicians will eventually relent. US politicians will not allow UAE interests to suffer embarrassment by losing this highly visible contest.
The Question: Why should foreign-controlled company employees and officials of foreign nations have direct knowledge and be privy to US Homeland Security plans, safeguards, procedures, and defenses?

Certainly the US remains in charge and will perform its own security. But how much more can our security forces do? Why should their task list grow? Why open our doors further? Homeland Security will become our nation's largest industry.

Stephen Hadley, Bush's national security advisor, said there is no way to stop the deal. Some Americans say, "Oh yes there is. We can pretend we are from the Middle East also and say, 'No, we do not accept this deal.'"

The Point: Dubai-controlled DP World will be a natural open door for fanatic terrorists to seek employment. At some point in the future, some few fanatics will be hired. They will have access to US security plans & procedures. They will have access to containers and ships heading directly into US ports. They will be able to plant chemical, nuclear, biological material on these ships.  Read the story.

Democracy Works
South Dakota's population is 770,000. SD has three electoral votes. A close presidential election is defined in US Constitutional terms as one wherein the national electoral vote count total is close.
Therefore, in a close presidential election, the state of South Dakota could determine the winner for the presidency of the US.
That could happen if electoral votes added up closer than in the 2000 presidential election. In 2000, a larger state -- Florida with its 27 electoral votes -- was needed to add in and determine the winner.
The electoral system was included in the US Constitution by its creators. The intent was to provide smaller states with reasonable representation. Democracy works except for sore losers. But they are, by definition, losers.

Liberated
Saddam Hussein is on trial for a small fraction of the despicable indecencies he inflicted upon the world and the Iraqi people. Throughout his trial he has used various tactics to delay, disrupt, and distract. Now he has gone on a hunger strike.
It is not that he wants to feel some small portion of the pain he inflicted upon millions of Iraqis, Kuwaitis, Iranians and others. He is being disruptive.
Saddam is free to go on a hunger strike. He is free to starve himself to death because he, along with 26 million Iraqis, was liberated by the US coalition. Iraq is now a free country. Saddam, you may die.

These are the last evacuees pleading & streaming to come to America on the last helicopter on top of the US embassy immediately before the North Vietnamese communists overran Saigon.

Gourmet coffees -- a fad. Some people are pausing to consider....
Our eclectic staff had been obsessed with gourmet coffees. Our buyers automatically bought the usual gourmet coffee brands. One day, one of our more astute staff members mentioned that our usual coffee didn't taste great. After the snickers subsided, we paused. A few intrepid staffers said, "Uhm, maybe you're like right."
Later that day one of our initiative-filled staff members ventured out to buy Stewart's Private Blend coffee.
Now, weeks later, everyone has paused. Most have switched from the pseudo-gourmet coffee to the good tasting, original private label coffee, Stewarts.

Mission Accomplished
The city council of Budapest, Hungary, approved placing a monument to former President Reagan in the capital's main park.
This was the first time a former Soviet-bloc's elected government voted to erect a monument in honor of President Reagan commemorating his efforts to end the Cold War and release Eastern Europe from Communist oppression.
Hungary's largest national newspaper and formerly the Communist Party's mouthpiece, Népszabadság, reported that support for the monument crossed all party lines -- a rarity in Hungarian politics.
