The Men Are Gone
GlobalNewscast
What remains are female toughies & male weenies.

Look to your workplace, look around stores while shopping, & observe how we drive to see the result.

Between 1962 and 1975, the Vietnam War resulted in the killing of approximately 68,000 of America's most brave and substantive men. These men possessed leadership skills and courage. They would have become the management class of corporate America. Instead, they died because they possessed these traits. Hundreds-of-thousands more American men were returned to home maimed physically and mentally.
By the mid-1970s, US corporations were being managed by the remnants of the male population. These men had avoided the draft and the culling known as the Vietnam War.
Beginning in the early 1970s every major US corporation was impacted by affirmative action legislation that mandated disregard for skills and experience when hiring. Instead, minorities and women were openly given priority. Rather than skills and experience being major requirements for hiring, applicants' race and gender were made the predominate decisive factor.

In the 1970s many universities discovered a new profit center: The MBA Program. During the 1980s and 1990s, there developed a confluence of affirmative action mandates and weakened management. MBA degrees became the inexcusably neutral tool for use in hiring the potentially more qualified. Then, school ratings overcame actual learning and student skill levels. The MBA applicant's school overshadowed the applicants' skills. Competition became distorted. Salaries skyrocketed.
MBA degrees actually prepare people only to become staid, passive mid-level accountants and managers, not pragmatic top notch executives.
Successful entrepreneurs know that the skills that they used to attain their success cannot be learned in an MBA program.

Today corporate America is governed by the product of affirmative action mandates: inept women and weak men. The decisions made by these people and the subordinates they select to implement their policies (when they have any) result in today's American corporations being what they have devolved into.
An obvious example is Carly Fiorina, who was handed the CEO job at one of the nation's preeminent corporations, Hewlett Packard. Within two years she had destroyed its reputation, its product line, and its morale. Within three years of her firing, HP has returned to the forefront of global corporations.
A dean of one the nation's top business schools is consultant to several of the nation's largest corporations. He attended good schools and earned the degrees and awards commensurate with this work. However, he has never worked as an employee or as an entrepreneur. So how is he qualified for these advisory and teaching tasks? Surely not from books alone...?

The American culture is bereft of the rugged individualism, the creative management, the pragmatism, the tough-minded wisdom intrinsic during America's greatest successful growth period, 1776 to 1960.

Boys are no longer allowed to be boys and no longer allowed to push outward to test boundaries. Boys should be reprimanded by a wise and metered hand while being instructed where they have exceeded boundaries and why they are wrong. Prescription drugs modify their mind's chemistry and inhibit their actions. Boys are labeled and stigmatized by their parents, school authorities, and classmates with various contrived disorders.
Girls are no longer allowed to be girls. No longer are they allowed to be feminine. Girls are instructed that there are no boundaries. Their mothers promise that they are better than boys. Girls are protected by school and parental forces from any remnants of toughness that some wayward boy may exhibit. Girls are labeled and stigmatized by their parents, school authorities, and classmates with various contrived inabilities.
Our culture reprimands boys for being boys and rewards girls for being boyish.

When these boys and girls reach physical maturity, they have not yet been allowed to mature emotionally. They have been provided personas that define them as one of many similar women or men of their age.
It is no surprise that so many girls and boys, after aging over decades, turn to themselves wondering internally what they are, should be, and what is desirable in friends and in a mate. As a result many confused women and men choose the easy pathway. They stay with their own kind -- their same gender.

When women and men are forced into positions of responsibility they cannot cope. They do not know how to decide what to do. They make decisions that demonstrate they are still trying to push boundaries in order to learn what their limits are.
In various contexts, therefore, they continue to act in immature ways.
They -- both women and men -- drive wildly, running red lights and stop signs, changing lanes with no warning, turning left from the right lane and vice versa.
When shopping women and men push through aisles searching for boundaries. They bump into other shoppers and are discourteous, in anticipation of being told that they have exceeded their boundaries. But after decades of exceeding boundaries and not being reprimanded, they only continue to be rude and aggressive.
In the workplace women and men are in daily contests with each and all of their coworkers for the most poorly dressed award. For a woman or man to dress in clean, neat clothes of a somewhat more dressy style is to invite being ostracized by one's peers.

America is paying the ultimate price for its disregard of the meritocracy upon which she was constructed. The ultimate price is being paid by Americans.
America's ruling class -- as politicians have become -- are now selected from the dregs of non-performing, inexperienced in all except criminal behavior, and most adept liars.

The remaining few real men have determined that in order to survive they must tough it out on a passive strike while waiting to be called into service when desperate times hit.
