A Legacy

	Former President Bill Clinton lied under oath to a federal judge regarding sexual escapades in the Oval Office. That is fact regardless of what the meaning of "is" is. He was impeached for lying under oath.
Clinton was the first president impeached since Andrew Jackson early in the 19th century & the second in US history.
Post-Clinton politics and the chaotic anger incited by Gore's contesting the 2000 election couple with a poorly educated electorate to produce chaos. Our populace has many juvenile, spoiled people who have little respect for the USA or themselves. There is a dangerous confluence of chaos and fear engendered by the 9/11 attacks. Many people subliminally understand that we are experiencing World War III. They sense that it is only time before buses start exploding and suicide killers run rampant in America.
People are starved for leadership. The media has created an environment wherein genuine leaders are unwilling to sacrifice themselves by running for public office. They realize the media attack-and-discredit machine will swing into action digging and distorting their careers simply to fill tabloid cable TV time.
These elements prompt today's entropy of patriotism in America.
On the ordinary man level, many have had easy lives. They have been handed much reward for little effort. They feel overly empowered. They believe themselves to be very smart simply because they can use a PDA, survive the drive through intersections against red lights, exercise daily, and display themselves unshaven (both genders) with unwashed hair.
They have little respect for themselves.
These angry, care-not, pseudo-political types have no appreciation for all that was needed to build the USA. They do not appreciate efforts of the pilgrims, pioneers, soldiers, statesmen, or the ordinary factory workers who built the USA. They have little respect for the nation or its institutions. They fail to comprehend capitalism or appreciate all the comforts and luxuries capitalism provides for them.
Some of today's easy riders actually shun true heroes of America's past, yet emulate today's ignorant elite.
These people accept impeachment as the manifest tool appropriate for use against presidents whose policies are at odds with theirs. These under-educated, little-minded people are willing to shatter and potentially destroy the USA simply to expedite removal of a president. Yet, likely, they cannot spell the term coup d'etat.
Where will these know-nothing-about-consequences people go to live after they have successfully undermined the essence of American institutions?

And, Bill, after your specious, insidious behavior in and out of the White House has contributed to the downfall of the USA, where will you go to live? Dubai? That may be difficult as they will be finished with you by then.
