Cheeseburger Anyone?

Some wise people realize that being somewhat overweight is not really bad. Not as horrific as so many shrill-sounding lecturers have lectured over recent decades.
A survey by NPD Group of 1,900 people representing America found they reject the negative attitude toward overweight. It is being replaced with reasonable acceptance. Over a 20-year period, the percentage of Americans who felt overweight people were less attractive than sticks dropped from 55% to 24%.
This is good news for the roughly two-thirds -- the majority -- of all Americans who are constructed using an overweight format.
The survey also confirmed that body image remains an obsession. Fortunately for the majority that negative attitude has waned since the late 1980s and 1990s.
